First Oberbaselbieter Kinofilm – A no-budget dialect thriller – More details on www.welthund.ch

The project for the film WELTHUND is based on the sequel novel “A slightly different summer” by Barbara Saladin, which appeared in the local newspaper Volksstimme in July/August 2004 and which was followed by the book “Meerschweinchen/Bachpfattli” because of its great popularity.

WELTHUND was realised as a no-budget production by the association WH Films. Both professional actresses and amateurs were in front of the camera. Production attracted a lot of interest and goodwill from both the population and local authorities.

So WELTHUND is not only a film project for, but also with the population.
